About Kariahlyn: Kariahlyn graduated from Clemson University in 2015 with a bachelor’s in graphic communications. She began her career at The Sonoco Institute, where she managed the print lab, conducted industry trials, and led training events. Her work there enhanced her expertise in color management and plate technology. Over the past 5years she served as graphics department manager at Accredo Packaging. Kariahlyn has recently joined Esko as a Flexo Solutions Specialist, supporting the FIQ and Sales teams, where she applies her skills in real-world problem solving.

About David: In his role as Director of Manufacturing for Cyber Graphics, David provides leadership to Cyber’s platemaking and engraving operations teams across the country. Over his 14-year tenure with Cyber David has championed technology development and has overseen implementation of plate, screening, and imaging advances as well as LED exposure conversions. Prior to joining Cyber, David earned a Master’s degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University.

A contributor to FLEXO Magazine and speaker at FTA and FPPA events, Dan has served in manufacturing, technical service, product management, sales and marketing. His current position is sales director, North America, based in the Chicago area.

Join Andreas as he discusses a unique approach with Shine LED Lamp Kits, innovated by Miraclon, that allow users to upgrade their existing exposure unit and obtain many of the same benefits of LED technology at a fraction of the cost of a new system.

About Andreas: Andreas brings over 25 years of experience in graphic arts from thermal laser imaging development at Creo, inkjet and approval proofing at Kodak to 14 years in flexography with focus on advancing the Flexcel NX technology. He is currently responsible for Flexcel NX imaging and processing equipment as well as the Tiff Assembler Plus and NX Central software development at Miraclon. He led award-winning technology developments such as the NX Advantage, Pure Flexo, NX Ultra Equipment to the Shine LED solution.

He is holds a Aerospace Diplom-Engineer degree from the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany and a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in Canada. Andreas is a member of the FTA US and a FIRST-Certified Implementation Specialist.

About Chris: Chris currently serves as VP of sales for SGS & Co printer channel. He has been with SGS & Co for 25 years and in the industry for 30+ years. Prior to his current role, he was in operations for 24+ years, including as director of flexo and GM/operations/plant manager. Chris earned his B.A. degree in visual communications/design from Southern Illinois University.
