About Catherine: Catherine Haynes is the VP of strategic initiatives for All Printing Resources. She has more than 28 years of experience in the printing industry, has been a certified G7 Expert for over 15 years, and is a certified FIRST Implementation Specialist. She facilitates various customer projects related to training, characterizations, prepress and pressroom assessments, color management, digital workflows, platemaking and implementation or expansion of in-house prepress capabilities. She also coordinates and conducts industry online and in-person training programs and has been a regular speaker/chair at FTA, Clemson, TLMI, FLAG and other industry events.

About Douglas: Douglas Sherwood is Channel Director at Techkon USA, where he focuses on color management, process control, quality control, and user-experience within the printing and packaging sectors and beyond. Doug’s role is forward-facing with customers, partners, and distributors of color measurement instrumentation, software, and systems. He is a passionate early adopter of cloud-based technologies and software. Having founded and sold two businesses, Doug is a strong advocate of advanced technology in its ability to transform business and increase workforce and manufacturing productivity.

Doug earned his MBA from the F. W. Olin School of Business at Babson College, following his BA in Economics and Government from Connecticut College. Doug lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife and their Australian Shepherd and is an avid skier, hiker, and cyclist.

About Dieter: Since 2003, Dieter Niederstadt has worked at Asahi Photoproducts (Europe), and since 2014 he has been in charge as a technical marketing manager. Dieter is a member of FTA and DFTA, as well as a past FTA FORUM speaker and participant to various association working groups.

Dieter has 38 years in the printing industry, beginning in 1986 with an apprenticeship at a repro house. In 1992, he studied print engineering at the University of Wuppertal in Germany and later earned a B.Sc. degree in graphic media study from Watford College in the UK. In 1999, he completed an M.Phil/Ph.D. in relation to screening technologies applied to flexographic printing at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
