About Kim: Kim is the director of corporate color management at Smyth Companies. She is responsible for the prepress groups and color control processes across the organization. Kim has more than 30 years of experience in the flexographic industry and is a former member of the FTA Board of Directors and FFTA Board of Trustees.
Steve Smiley

About Steve: Steve Smiley is a 35-year veteran from print, premedia and packaging brand solutions. Steve’s previous position was managing color across all printing types, commercial, direct mail and packaging, managing print globally. Steve is a proud member of the FTA family, participating at annual FORUMs.
As a brand manager, Steve has developed the tools for physical and digital standards to define common ingredients and aims across supply chain partners, along with supporting documents like ISO 12647-6 Flexographic Prints, ISO 17972-4 CxF X4 Spot Color Characterization Exchange Format and ISO 16761-2 Requirement for Packaging Supply Conformance and Test Methods. He is the recipient of the Holzinger Award, FTA President’s Award and the Clemson Top Cat Award. Steve has a degree in photography. In 2017, he was inducted into the FTA Hall of Fame.
Kariahlyn Lindsey

About Kariahlyn: Kariahlyn graduated from Clemson University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in graphic communications. She began her flexography career at The Sonoco Institute at Clemson, where she ran the print lab conducting industry trials, led training events for students and industry professionals, and participated in research related to the flexographic industry. While at the Sonoco Institute, Kariahlyn developed her skills in color management, plate technology and optimization practices.
Kariahlyn currently works at Accredo Packaging as print process manager, where she continues to manage the implementation and adoption of industry technologies into real-world applications and problem-solving processes. She specializes in troubleshooting flexographic production capabilities as it relates to color management, press, plateroom and graphics. Over the last three years at Accredo, Kariahlyn has expanded her application-based knowledge.
Catherine Haynes
VP of Growth and Development at All Printing Resources Inc

About Catherine: Catherine Haynes is the VP of growth and development for All Printing Resources. She has more than 25 years of experience in the printing industry and has been a certified G7 Expert for over 13 years.
At APR, she assists sales technicians as a technical representative for various customer projects related to training, characterizations, prepress and pressroom assessments, color management, digital workflows, plate making and implementation or expansion of in-house prepress capabilities. She also coordinates and conducts industry training programs and is a regular speaker at Clemson, FTA and other industry events.
